The Mitutoyo HR-430MS Rockwell hardness tester is capable of testing all regular Rockwell scales and all superficial Rockwell scales, utilizing an automatic elevating screw brake and loading sequence for stable test force generation. It features dead weight loading mechanics, for more accurate test loads than dashpot systems, as well as load durations adjustable from 1 second to 99 seconds. The backlit LCD display shows the hardness value, scale conversions, offsets, and OK/NG determinations.
